For our multinational client in brewery industry, located in Budapest we are looking for a

PRODUCTION UNIT MANAGER

Job Purpose:
Ensure the effective operation of production lines with planning, coordinating and controlling of all the resources and the budget of the unit; furthermore, cooperating with maintenance and quality departments in order to maximize the availability of the production lines and ensuring the excellent quality of the product.

Main Tasks:
Ensure resources for and lead the operation of KEG and PET production lines
People management of 9-12 operators through team leaders
Take part in performance measuring and appraising of the production lines
Maintain the technical conditions and status of the production lines and increase availability
Plan and control of the maintenance budget of the lines
Coordinate and control maintenance tasks in cooperation with the maintenance team
Take preventive actions from quality point of view, initiate corrective actions and develop the quality approach of the colleagues
Plan and follow-up of the variable and fix costs of the production line
Keep the work safety and fire protection regulations and make them kept by the colleagues as well
Liaise with internal customers and suppliers
Lead new investment and development projects in connection with the production line

Requirements:
College or university degree in Engineering
Qualification and/or experience in food industry or FMCG sector is an advantage but not obligatory
3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing area, in operating automated production lines
1,5-year managerial experience
High level of English knowledge (written and spoken)
Managerial approach and people management skills
Quality oriented approach
Potential to develop further to a higher position
