R&D Senior Mechanical Designer

Main Tasks:
Design and develop complete devices that integrate mechanical, electrical, and optical components.
Interact with Product Management and Marketing to fully understand product requirements and develop cost effective and innovative solutions.
Create solid models, assembly drawings, component drawings and tooling drawings in SolidWorks.
Create designs that are aligned with our manufacturing capabilities; perform Design-for- Manufacturing reviews.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop assembly and quality control procedures.
Perform product verification and validations according to the defined design inputs and product specifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
SolidWorks 2016 and related programs.
Being able to complete tasking on-time with minimal supervision.
Being able to understand and apply safety and quality standards.
Agile and proactive attitude, teamwork is a must.
Strong background in mechanical design, material selection and application.
Knowledge of engineering standards (ANSI, ISO)
Over 6 years in the industry.
Mechanical Engineering degree (BSc, MSc).
