Xomox Magyarország Kft is one of the Xomox European manufacturing sites for process valves and actuators for Industrial applications with continuous expansion of our capacities. XOMOX Corporation is a subsidiary of CRANE Co. in Stamford / Connecticut.

We are looking for a colleague for the following position to our Factory located in Industrial Park Sóstói in Székesfehérvár (Hungary):

Product engineer

The role:
Use 2D, 3D and solid modelling techniques to design valves and components for Chemical, Industrial and Pharmaceutical applications
Create products’ manufacturing documentation (lined components, machined parts, casted and machined components, assembled valves)
Maintain rationalization and suppress variety in the product ranges wherever appropriate (value engineering)
Provide technical support during customer claims and quotation processes
Design and develop new and existing products, participate in New Product Development (NPD) projects
Drive Change Management (CM) process in case of product design changes
Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure designs are fit for manufacture and purpose
Keep up to date with new product developments and technologies
Prepare BOM & routings in ERP tool
Meet the KPIs to fulfil Quality, Delivery, Cost and Internal customer satisfaction requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
At least College graduated (degree in mechanical engineering)
3-5 years’ experience in product development or in product management
Communication level in English oral and written
Experience in product design techniques
Familiar with FMEA, tolerance chain calculation, FEA, DFMA
Basic knowledge of production technologies: casting, milling, turning
Good organizational and analytical skills
Problem solving and proactive attitude
